⚠️ IMPORTANT — How Japan Visa Works with Gomayu
Japan visa cannot be applied online. Once your documents are ready and verified, our visa team will collect all your documents, review and verify everything at our office, and submit them to the Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC), Kathmandu on your behalf. You do not need to visit the visa centre yourself. Your passport with the stamped visa will be returned to you once approved.
TOURIST VISA (Temporary Visitor)
For tourism, sightseeing, visiting friends or family, and cultural experiences. Visa is valid for 4 months from the date of issue. Permitted stay duration is as granted on your entry stamp (up to 90 days).
Processing Time: 7–8 working days after submission (occasional delays possible at the visa centre).
Visa Fee: NPR 12,500 per person.
GENERAL DOCUMENTS (Required for All Applicants)
01 — Visa Application Form
Official Japan visa application form, printed on both sides with all sections filled in accurately. Each applicant must submit a separate form including children. Contact number on the form must belong to the applicant. For minors, parent or legal guardian may sign — relationship must be clearly stated (e.g. signed by father/mother). No pins, staples, paper clips, or cello tape on any documents.
02 — Valid Passport (Original)
Original passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 1 blank page. Submit 3 clear photocopies of the bio page. If you have previously obtained a Japan visa, include a copy of that visa as well.
03 — Passport-Size Photos (3 copies — Original)
Recent color photo on a plain white background, full face, looking straight forward, no spectacles, contact lenses, or cap. Size: 45mm × 35mm. Taken within the last 6 months. Photos must be clear and identifiable.
04 — PAN Card with English Translation
Clear copy of your PAN card along with its official English translation.
05 — Bank Statement (Last 6 Months)
Original bank statement for the last 6 months with a minimum closing balance of NPR 5,00,000–6,00,000. Must carry official bank stamp and signature. All photocopies must be in A4 size.
06 — Proof of Income / Tax Certificate
Certificate of income or tax payment issued by a public agency (original). Demonstrates financial ability to cover all expenses during your stay in Japan.
07 — Confirmed Round-Trip Flight Tickets
Confirmed return flight tickets to and from Japan with entry and departure dates clearly shown. Itinerary must match your travel schedule.
08 — Hotel Booking / Accommodation
Confirmed hotel reservation covering your entire stay in Japan.
09 — Schedule of Stay / Travel Itinerary
Detailed day-by-day travel plan for your stay in Japan including places to visit, activities, and accommodation details. Must match your flight tickets and hotel bookings. Travel plan must cover at least 10 days after your document submission date.
10 — Job Letter / No Objection Letter / Salary Letter
Official letter from your employer confirming your designation, salary, approved leave period, and that you will return to your position after travel. Self-employed applicants must submit company registration certificate with English translation and tax clearance certificate with English translation.
FOR STUDENT APPLICANTS
Students do not need to submit a Job Letter, No Objection Letter, Salary Letter, Company Registration, or Tax Clearance Certificate. Instead, submit a school or college enrollment letter confirming your student status and approved leave duration.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SUBMISSION RULES
All documents must be arranged in the order of the checklist before submission to Gomayu Holidays.
All original documents must be submitted along with one full set of photocopies.
All photocopies must be in A4 size — including bank statements.
Documents issued in Nepal in the Nepali language must be officially translated into English before submission.
No pins, staples, paper clips, or cello tape on any documents.
If multiple applicants share the same sponsor, equal sets of copies are required per applicant.
⚠️ ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUEST
The Japan Visa Application Centre or Embassy of Japan may request additional supporting documents during the review process. Our visa officer will inform you promptly if this happens. Documents must be provided as soon as possible to avoid delays in processing.
📋 IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS
01 — Visa Approval is Not Guaranteed
The decision to grant or reject a visa rests solely with the Embassy of Japan. Gomayu Holidays facilitates the application and submission process but has no influence over the embassy's final decision.
02 — Non-Refundable Service Fee
The visa service fee paid to Gomayu Holidays is strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the visa is approved, rejected, or cancelled by the applicant.
03 — Processing Delays Beyond Our Control
Gomayu Holidays submits your documents promptly after verification at our office. Any delays caused by the Japan Visa Application Centre or Embassy are beyond our control and do not qualify for refund or compensation.
04 — Original Documents Required
All required original documents must be submitted to Gomayu Holidays for verification and embassy submission. Submission of fake, forged, or tampered documents will lead to immediate rejection and may result in a permanent visa ban.
05 — Matching Details Across All Documents
All personal details must be consistent across your passport, bank statement, flight tickets, hotel booking, and other submitted documents. Any mismatch may lead to visa rejection.
06 — Applicant Responsibility
Gomayu Holidays is not responsible for visa rejection due to insufficient funds, incorrect documents, mismatched information, or incomplete document submission.
