Your Journey, Step by Step

Accommodations During the Tour

Your safari lodgings have been thoughtfully chosen to offer a combination of comfort, and a genuine connection to Kenya’s breathtaking scenery.

You will stay at a high-end city hotel in Nairobi that offers roomy accommodations, fine restaurants, and expansive views of the energetic metropolis. It blends contemporary elegance with friendly service.

Following an exploration of the city’s natural and cultural riches, this urban refuge is the ideal spot to unwind. With comfortable accommodations with individual terraces overlooking the expansive grassland, your resort in the Maasai Mara provides an authentic wilderness experience.

With its eco-friendly design and African artistic inspiration, the lodge offers a peaceful haven with top-notch facilities, including a wellness spa and superb dining options that highlight regional cuisine.

Dining Options and Culinary Experience

Eating is a gourmet adventure that includes both foreign and Kenyan cuisine made using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.

Start your day with a local and international breakfast that includes pastries and fruits that are obtained locally. While evening dinners showcase foreign and African-inspired foods in beautiful, evocative settings, lunchtime provides picturesque picnic-style meals.

Best Time for the Tour

The dry seasons of June through October and January through February are the best times to go on this opulent Kenya safari.

During these months, animals gather around water sources, and the foliage is less dense, making it easier to see the “Big Five” and other species.

Furthermore, the Great Migration, a breathtaking natural event that usually occurs between July and October, involves millions of antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests crossing the Mara River.

The months outside peak season still provide stunning views, good weather, and a wealth of animals, but without the greater tourist hordes, making for a more tranquil experience.

Must-Do Activities in the Tour

Even if there are many highlights throughout the entire route, some experiences are essential for every tourist. With a breathtaking sunrise as the backdrop, the morning hot air balloon safari above the Maasai Mara provides a unique aerial view of the grassland.

A cultural trip to a Maasai community, where you can take part in traditional storytelling, dances, and crafts, is as essential. The guided game drives, which offer up-close views of famous African animals and are enriched by the knowledge of knowledgeable guides, are another must-do activity.

Optional Add-Ons

Add supplementary activities that suit your interests to your safari trip. Think about having a private dinner at one of Nairobi’s best restaurants, which serves a blend of foreign and Kenyan fare.

A helicopter trip above the Great Rift Valley, which offers breathtaking views of the region’s geological characteristics, is an option at a higher price.

Take a midnight game drive at the Maasai Mara to see the wildlife’s nocturnal habits. It is also possible to arrange a bush meal beneath the stars, which provides a memorable experience in the middle of the forest.

Last but not least, spa services at your luxurious lodges are ideal for unwinding after exciting days of exploration.

Wildlife to Look Out For

The animal variety of Kenya is incomparable, and this trip is intended to give you a close-up look at many famous species. The “Big Five” (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo) as well as zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs may all be found in the Maasai Mara.

Birdwatchers will love seeing species like the secretary bird and lilac-breasted roller. The drama of predator-prey relationships plays out in real time during the Great Migration, especially in the area around the Mara River.

Nairobi also provides exceptional opportunities to see endangered animals, such as the young elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Centre.
