FAQs
Your Questions, Answered
What wildlife can I expect to see in Chitwan, and is it guaranteed?
Chitwan is home to one-horned rhinos (high chance of sighting), various deer species, monkeys, and over 500 bird species. While we cannot guarantee tiger sightings due to their elusive nature, our expert naturalist guides know the best spots and timing to maximize wildlife encounters during canoeing and jungle walks.
Is the jungle tower camp safe and comfortable for overnight stays?
Yes, our jungle tower camps are completely safe with elevated structures protecting from ground wildlife. Basic but comfortable amenities include clean bedding, mosquito nets, shared bathroom facilities, and 24-hour security.
What's special about staying in Dhikidanda, and what mountain views can I expect?
Dhikidanda offers one of Nepal’s best sunrise viewpoints with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. Located at higher altitude than Pokhara, you’ll enjoy clearer mountain vistas, peaceful resort atmosphere, and fresh mountain air before descending to bustling Lakeside Pokhara.
Can I customize the lake activities in Pokhara based on my interests?
Absolutely! Day 4 offers flexible options – choose relaxing food hunting and chill vibes at scenic Begnas Lake, or more active kayaking and paddling at famous Fewa Lake. We can also arrange additional activities like boating, fishing, or lakeside cycling based on your preferences and energy levels.
What should I pack for this tour covering jungle, mountains, and lakes?
Pack layers for varying climates: lightweight clothes for jungle heat, warm jacket for mountain mornings, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent for Chitwan, sunscreen, hat, and camera. We’ll provide a detailed packing list after booking, including specific recommendations for jungle tower camping and mountain resort stays.
