FAQs
Your Questions, Answered
Is the Mustang Flight & Drive Tour suitable for elderly travelers or those with mobility concerns?
Yes, this tour is designed for moderate fitness levels with minimal walking required. The longest walk is at Muktinath Temple (15-20 minutes), and all transportation is by comfortable private vehicle. However, Muktinath is at 3,710m altitude, so we recommend consulting your doctor if you have heart or respiratory conditions.
What happens if flights are canceled due to weather in the mountains?
Mountain weather can occasionally affect domestic flights. If flights are delayed, we provide comfortable hotel accommodation at no extra cost and reschedule your tour accordingly. Our team monitors weather conditions closely and will inform you of any changes. No cancellation fees apply for weather-related delays.
Can I customize the Mustang tour itinerary or extend my stay in specific locations?
Absolutely! We can extend your stay in Pokhara for additional activities like paragliding or sunrise viewpoints, add extra nights in Marpha village for deeper cultural immersion, or include helicopter flights for aerial mountain views. Custom itineraries are available with advance notice and adjusted pricing.
What type of food will be available, and can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
You’ll enjoy traditional Thakali cuisine (local Mustang specialty), Tibetan dishes, and continental breakfast options. Marpha is famous for apple products you can try. We easily accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements – just inform us during booking. Clean drinking water and international snacks are available throughout the journey.
Do I need special permits for the Mustang region, and what documents should I bring?
Yes, special permits are required for the Mustang region, but we handle all permit processing for you (included in the package price). You only need to bring a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. For Nepalese and Indian citizens, a valid photo ID is sufficient. We’ll send you a complete packing list and document checklist after booking.
